Celebrate the Canada Day Long Weekend in Downtown Duncan

Celebrate Canada Day long weekend in downtown Duncan

Canada Day Beach Party

Warmup on the beach Live music on stage, 150 tons of sand turning the Train Station Parking Lot into a beach and a full day of volleyball being played in the sun!

Who would have thought? We are glad someone did, after all it’s not everyday that you can party on the beach in the middle of downtown Duncan!

The day was a great success and after the volleyball competition finished we were treated to some great music thanks to Tropic Mayhem.

You can watch some of the action below or by visiting the Festival’s YouTube channel.

The Making of Canada Day Volleython

Sand being dumped in the parking lotHere we go! Tons of sand unloaded right into the Train Station Parking Lot ready for the Summer Festival kick off on Canada Day.

The Festival started with the inaugural Over the Top Beach Volleython which proved to be great fun.

A huge amount of preparation went into this event and we captured some of this on film. Watch it below or visit the Festival’s very own YouTube channel.

Happy festival everyone!
