This website and much of the promotional material that is produced to market it is really brought alive by some of the stunning photography that is used.
Much of this is a credit to many people who supplied us with photographs or even volunteered their time to document the Festival.
A huge number of photographs were provided to us by Sean Maher of Isle Style Productions. As well as operating as a sound tech behind the scenes, Sean’s stunning images have been used across this website and other promotional material to great effect.
One of our most talented volunteer photographers this year was Kelly Little. With a background in Socio-cultural Anthropology, Kelly has an express passion for people, culture and life.
Specializing in Literary Arts and Photography, Kelly recently returned to Canada after an extended stay in the Caribbean where she acquired training as a Documentarian with the BBC’s Sanna Allsop.
A former newspaper reporter, Kelly enjoys free-lance work and is in the process of completing a book.
The Summer Festival was very lucky indeed to have Kelly working to document the Festival with her excellent photography, much of which can be seen on our Flickr stream and indeed on the website itself.
Kelly is a director of the PDCEC project. You can visit their website to learn more.
Work of many
A great many people contributed images and it would be difficult to mention them all – particularly those who provided photographs from previous years which were so striking that we simply had to use them again.
Other special mentions go out to Benjamin Drakes, whose work can also be seen on Flickr, and to the legions of Festival supporters who contributed images anonymously.
