There are plenty of free rides for kids, interesting markets for the parents and plenty of chances to win great prizes. It promises to be a fun-filled weekend!

There’s so much to do

Head down to Jubilee Street to try your hand at tie-dying some t-shirts, check out the face-painting on Station Street or peruse the local products on offer at the Market in the Square.

Other highlights include a psychic market (hosted by Wishes) and mini-golf, both on Station Street.

Scavenger hunt!

Something like a treasure hunt for the smartphone era, those of you with a modern smartphone (and the appropriate app, of course!) can take part in the Duncan Daze scavenger hunt!

QR codes – which are a bit like giant barcodes – will be posted around the downtown area. Simply scan one, follow the instructions and move on. There are some great prizes including a free BlackBerry (plan not included).

What app do I need?

The Duncan Business Improvement Area (DBIA) recommend one of the following apps for your smartphone:QR Code

  • Red Laser (iPhone)
  • QR Code Scanner Pro (BlackBerry)
  • Quickmark (Android)
The scavenger hunt is running on Friday as well as Saturday. To get started simply make your way to the DBIA tent near CIBC on Station Street. Good luck!
